Willkommen bei Adobe GoLive 6

Bereits am Freitag, 4. Juli landeten bei gutem Flugwetter die ersten Microlights aus
Deutschland, Luxemburg, und Dänemark auf dem Flugplatz Mollis. Am Samstag tra-
fen weitere Crews aus Deutschland, England, Spanien, Polen und der Schweiz ein.
Verschiedene Piloten nutzten das schöne Wetter für Rundflüge in die Alpen. Auf
Wunsch erhielten Flachlandpiloten eine Alpeneinführung durch Lokalpiloten.

The first Microlights from Germany, Luxembourg and Danmark arrived on Friday.
On Saturday followed other crews from Germany, England, Spain and Poland.
Some pilots used the nice weather to make round-trips in the alps. On demand
local pilot accompanyed flatland pilots on flights to the alps.

Insgesamt waren 57 Microlights einschliesslich einigen Experimentals in Mollis ge-
gelandet. Im Hangar-Restaurant traf man sich zum Gedankenaustausch und gemüt-
lichen Verweilen.

Totally were 57 machines landed including some experimentals. In the hangar-
restaurant pilots discussed with other pilots "flying themes"and enjoyed the stay.

Alle Piloten erhielten als Welcome-Präsent eine schöne Fliegeruhr, gesponsert von
Adriatica Swiss Watches sowie ein schweizer Offiziersmesser der Firma Victorinox.

All pilots received on the welcome a very nice swiss watch, sponsored by Adriatica
Swiss Watches, and a swiss officer knife, sponsored by manufacturer Victorinox.

Da auf Sonntagmittag schlechtes Wetter mit Regen angekündigt war, traten die Pilo-
ten am Sonntagmorgen frühzeitig den Rückflug an. Am Fly-In herrschte eine sehr gute
Stimmung und viele Piloten werden beim nächsten Fly-In Mollis, welches vermutlich
2010 stattfinden wird, wieder kommen.

Because on Sunday afternoon bad weather was announced, all pilots decided to
leave Mollis in the morning. The pilots enjoyed their stay in Mollis and it is no
doubt that many of them will come again to the next Fly-In Mollis, which is planned
for 2010.

your organisation, welcome and friendliness is the best of any flyins I have been to. The airfield and
the scenery will again be talked about for a long time. We (G-ICMT, G-BZMF and G-CBMZ) arrived
back at home in the UK on Sunday evening after 6 hours 45 minutes flying. The weather on the
Swiss/French border was very poor and we had to land at Vesoul in low cloud and heavy rain, this
cleared a little and allowed us to progress on to Epernay where the weather was ok but getting in-
creasingly windy and turbulent. We crossed the channel into the UK amongst very heavy showers
and got bounced around in very turbulent air all the way back to our bases. All three aircraft and
crews wer home safe and in time for dinner, so 650 miles in 6 hours 45 minutes (total round trip
distance 1300 miles, flying time 13 hours 40 minutes)."

viel Spass gemacht wie beim ersten Mal. Unsere, dank einer durch ganz Deutschland reichenden Tiefdruckrinne schwierige Anreise, hat sich gelohnt. Leider hatten wir auf dem Rückflug einen Reifen-
platzer in Memmingen (Allgäu) und mussten wegen massivem Regen in Büsum eine Pause einlegen.

"On behalf of Stephen an myself (G-COXS) we would like to say a big thank you for the exceptionally
well organised fly-in at Mollis again this year.The organisation, hospitality and generosity of everyone
involved is tremendous. From finding us a hotel and transporting us to and from, all at no expense,
to advice and help with flying in Switzerland, all the met services we could ask, nothing was too much
trouble. Although some of our English compatriots flew all the way home on Sunday, we were rather
more cautious and stopped at Purrentruy due to poor weather......We then (Monday) flew through to
Soissons in northern France where we decided to stop for fuel and comfort break. On looking at the
weather in the Channel for that evening we decided the 40MPH winds were not welcoming and we
decided to stay the night....Although we had a strong wind and many showers to negotiate in France,
the Channel crossing was against a near cloudless sky and we arrived back in the UK early afternoon
(Tuesday). After a stop in Headcorn we arrived home in the Midlands early evening after dodging
English showers. A great adventure with generosity and hospitality from our Swiss and French avia-
tion friends that will not be forgotten. Again many thanks to everyone involved."

Ausflug
Einige Teilnehmer nutzten das gute Wetter für Rundflüge. Am Samstagabend war das Wetter ideal.
Manfred Schneider aus Pennewitz/D unternahm mit seiner C42 einen Ausflug von Mollis über den
Pragelpass zum Vierwaldstättersee rund um den Rigi nach Einsiedeln mit Zwischenhalt auf dem
maleririschen Flugplatz Wangen-Lachen am Zürichsee.

Some pilots used the good weather for roundtrips. On Saturday evening weather was perfect. Manfred
Schneider from Pennewitz/D made a journey with his C42 over the Pragelpass to the Vierwaldstätter-
see, surrounding Mount Rigi and continued via Einsiedeln for a stop to the superb little airfield Wangen-
-Lachen on the shore of Lake of Zurich.

for 2010 (may be that we make then a big one together with swiss
experimental association???)
